Where The Bands Are

September 20th 2010

As the nights draw in and autumn slowly creeps upon us we have returned home to hibernate for a few months and spend some time writing.  Currently as I type I can hear the keys of the piano play a melody as Matt sits in the room below me playing something new in the key of C.  I'm excited at what has become of the band, the last few years have been an amazing time on 100 stages across the UK and now we are ready to start thinking about the next album.  Keep checking the website as we will be posting demos when they are ready, whenever they are ready and hopefully 2011 will bring the release of the next Dead Like Harry album! At last we have found time to start exploring some of the music me and Matt have been writing since the album and we have begun sitting around the piano as a band with acoustic guitars, working on arranging the pieces, working with Alice and Adam on harmonies and John and Robin on guitar and bass parts. It’s exciting to be working together creatively again after spending so much time sat in a van! Really looking forward to 2011 and seeing all of you again soon. If you haven’t already bought a DVD there are some left and there are some more handmade albums, and t-shirts.

See you soon!

Sam and Matt
