Mostly Autumn -
Looking forward to seeing them in May for the nth time. I discovered them about 4 years ago and wondered how I'd missed them at the start of the decade.
Sad that heather Findlay has left the group but pleased to see that Livvy Sparnenn has taken her place.... interesting times ahead.

I've just ordered the new album by Karnataka- Gathering Light.
Looking forward to it...it's had some very good reviews.
Midlake is a band which keeps getting mentioned to me...sounds appealing.

I have just bought the debut album from Goldheart Assembly, called 'Wolves and Thieves'. It's quite chilled out in the sort of Fleet Foxes, Mumford and Sons vein, but less folky. We know the lads quite well from playing the Jealous of the Daylioght gigs down in London, and they are really nice guys. Check them out!

I got Goldheart Assembly's album too, after hearing the infectiously catchy King of Rome on the radio (I've seen them once or twice when they were on the same bill as DLH, but my memory is terrible and I probably wasn't paying that much attention at the time). Agree with you on the Fleet Foxes vibe Bin, in fact the vocals on the second track Anvil sound spookily like Fleet Foxes!

Cry No More are made up of a guy called Roy Hill, and the bass player/ twelve string acoustic player from Strawbs, Chas Cronk. They are worth looking out for, as they put on a fantastic show, but they can be a bit blue. I wouldn't recommend that you take your granny.

I've seen Acoustic Strawbs twice in the last 3 years..thoroughly enjoyable and obviously nothing like Cry No More...as I would take my granny to Strawbs.
I also remember seeing Strawbs back in the 70's.... I think Blue Weaver was on keyboard at the time -post Rick Wakeman.
BTW ..when I saw Acoustic Strawbs last year I told Dave Cousins, as I was buying their new CD Dancing to the Devil's beat, that I didn't like the cover. He told me that it was what was inside that mattered..he had a point but I still think it's one of the worst covers for an album.

Currently listening to "Forever Autumn", Justin Hayward - rather apt today, I think.
I've seen The Strawbs more times than I can remember (I married a fan!) First time for me was the '83 Cambridge Folk Festival. I bought a tshirt... it no longer fits. 
Otherwise, I love The Kinks. Bit of Bowie. Bit of folk. Bit of blues. I have very broad musical tastes.
