Topic: The Tansley Gig

This was last Sunday (May 2nd) but I'm afraid you all missed it because it was a private party smile
Just thought I'd share a few things with you all...

Tansley is a village just outside Matlock.
Matlock is a town just outside Chesterfield.
Chesterfield is a town just outside Sheffield   smile

It was over a year ago when my wife and I decided to have a gathering to mark a few special occasions and we decided that we wanted live music...... and there was no question about who would provide the live music.
We hired the village hall and had a quiz and a raffle and everyone brought a picnic and DLH played a storming set (because we asked them to smile ...but then again, they don't do non-storming sets).

We felt privileged that the band had been part of our evening and it was good to see everyone enjoying themselves - including the band.

I felt a bit guilty that Robin had had to miss Sheffield Wednesday's last match of the season because of this, but he was very accommodating about it all...a true professional!!!  (and I guess he didn't really mind , now knowing the fateful result)

The preparation beforehand to make this happen, and the communications between ourselves and Sam, showed how much the band care in making sure that every gig gives the best.
DLH are something special and, for us, this was our special evening.
