The DVD includes the entire live performance, an interview with the band, and photos from the night.

We are only manufacturing 250 copies of the DVD (it is strictly limited edition) and in order to help fund the costs of this we are releasing it today as a pre-order for £10 (+ postage). Anybody who orders a copy of the DVD from our online shop in the next three weeks will have their name included inside the sleeve!

Two new songs in the set list (I don't know the titles but I'm sure someone will tell me) and 'Joanna' to finish. The reception given to 'when we were 17' was particularly rousing - just confirms what a great song this is...... but then again, they're all great songs. My favourite is Streets with Cherry Street and You're Not Alone tying for second, although next week I might change my mind smile

A brilliant evening. These performances are up there with the best .....

There's a track you played once at The Cellars several years ago that I haven't heard since that I'd love to hear again. I think it was called I Can't Dream Of You Any More. I guess with the full band plus instruments there's very little room for the accordion as well when you're on the road, especially if you've got the double bass as well, but if you're doing an acoustic set at Libertys is there any chance you could squeeze that one in? Lake Geneva would be good to hear again as well.

Just thought I'd share a few things with you all...

Tansley is a village just outside Matlock.
Matlock is a town just outside Chesterfield.
Chesterfield is a town just outside Sheffield   smile

It was over a year ago when my wife and I decided to have a gathering to mark a few special occasions and we decided that we wanted live music...... and there was no question about who would provide the live music.
We hired the village hall and had a quiz and a raffle and everyone brought a picnic and DLH played a storming set (because we asked them to smile ...but then again, they don't do non-storming sets).

We felt privileged that the band had been part of our evening and it was good to see everyone enjoying themselves - including the band.

I felt a bit guilty that Robin had had to miss Sheffield Wednesday's last match of the season because of this, but he was very accommodating about it all...a true professional!!!  (and I guess he didn't really mind , now knowing the fateful result)

The preparation beforehand to make this happen, and the communications between ourselves and Sam, showed how much the band care in making sure that every gig gives the best.
DLH are something special and, for us, this was our special evening.
